Lecturer: Persons responsible for module: Written examination (90 minutes, after first part). None. This course covers advanced microeconomic models. Students acquire the calculus and basic proof techniques required to understand these models. They learn to formalize and analyze individual decision-making and strategic interactions and become acquainted with models of individual choice under certainty and uncertainty. Students will be able to analyze firms’ decision problems, distinguish between partial analysis of isolated markets and general analysis considering mutual dependencies between markets, and predict theoretical outcomes of strategic interactions using a variety of solution concepts.
